BioIf sleeping were an Olympic sport, I would be a gold medalist.
Right now, dealing with with cancer is pretty much central to my existence. I fight it with humor (often twisted), the love and support of my husband, children, family and most excellent friends (most of whom have twisted senses of humor).
When not dealing with cancer, I talk about life, family... the general sort of bloginess.
My blog is public access. This is so friends can comment without registering with LJ. This has had the added benefit of allowing FoFs and total strangers to access my entries. Blogging helped me immensely during my first round of cancer treatment. I was very happy to learn that FoFs and total strangers read those entries and found them of use. Even if you're not a "friend" go ahead, read and comment. Just don't be abusive or insulting please.
Oh, and for anyone considering post-mastectomy reconstruction, look into the DIEP procedure.
